28th September 2024: Driven by swinging bass rhythms, the Steph Pirrie Trio ranged across a wide selection of classic and fusion jazz, from Charles Mingus to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, by way of Randy Crawford, James Taylor and Steph’s own compositions. Tim Lapthorn’s outstanding keyboard improvisations made it a memorable night.
