9th November 2024: Selling out for a second time, OXUS returned with a carefully selected programme of folk, dances and classical excerpts, all inspired by the people and landscapes of the Central Asian steppes. From Shostakovitch via Tchaikovsky and Borodin, to a Fiddler on the Roof melody and rousing Sabre Dance, their expert playing and a twinkling sense of fun were again evident.
