OXUS, based in Oxford and arguably one of the UK's finest classical quartets, found time in their packed schedule to make a first visit to Combe. They graced a sold out and most appreciative audience with outstanding musicianship and a delightfully varied programme, including Mozart, Caroline Shaw and Ravel. All delivered with obvious passion, a great depth of knowledge of historical context and a marvellous sense of humour.
