From the first chord strike, Jonjan is an artist who stuns, impresses and excites in equal measure. To describe him as a percussive guitarist does no justice to the fantastic way he underpins and drives his ‘funky flamenco’ compositions with slaps, raps and beats all around the body of the instrument. Often booked for stylish ‘Sofa events’ and corporate online entertainment, here he gave his best for a community audience: ‘a beautiful crowd hungry and respectful for new music, an ideal audience’.
